The Book

Do Volunteer is a modern guide to giving back in a way that is simple, joyful, and
sustainable from a Brighton-based founder and community builder.

UK-based with a global message, Toni brings the book to life in talks that show how social impact, done well, builds stronger teams and more resilient communities.

The Writer Behind the Words

Toni Finnimore is a community builder and founder
of The Social Society, a volunteer and events company that makes giving back simple, local and fun. With more than 20 years’ experience in the
charity and public sectors, she has worked with businesses and organisations, such as 1% for the Planet, to make their volunteering initiatives more effective and sustainable. Toni’s approach is rooted
in connection: real people showing up in real life and online, doing good together and making an actual impact.
Alongside running festival team days, workshops and ‘volunteer hackathons’ in London, New York and Sydney, Toni spends her time by, or in the sea.

She is based in Brighton and is available internationally for interviews, speaking engagements and book events.
